When my (Samsung) stopped  Paul it was because the water feed to it
had
frozen . It passes through the fridge to cool.  The engineer blamed the
settings being too cold but what had actually happened was the
circulatory fan (frost free) had iced up a bit  and hence stopped
resulting in areas of the fridge being colder/hotter & the water to
freeze on the way to the ice/dispenser.   May not be the same but
thought I'd mention it.  His 'we have to do this all the time on this
model' soution was to hack some of the surroundings away from the fan so
that it didn't catch/ice up. Been fine ever since.
