in case yu did not know the Idratek MFPs/DFPs and other modules have
temp sensors and you can set alsorts of thresholds on the resultant
data.  Given Idratek's ability to integrate various data I am suprised
that you are thinking of an independent overlay network in the hope of
getting some more information, I fear you'd just get more data from
which the information would be terribly hard to extract.
