Bros - what "adjusting" did you do?

We are curently streaming our MCE recordings to XBMC's round the house,
with
2 issues.  A slight A/V synch issue (fixable by adjusting the delay - but
you have to do this every time), and a problem with interlacing in the
picture in fast moving scenes.  Any pointers appreciated.
