Actually, a little further research has revealed to me that the
hot-plug fu=
nctionality isn't standard, - you have to buy an additional SAS/SATA
contro=
ller to support it. The embedded SATA controller doesn't support
hot-pluggi=
ng, so presumably, it must be a valid option to use non hot-plug drives,
si=
nce the SAS controller is an option... Therefore, I wonder if there are
sta=
ndard mounting points available for non-caddied drives?... - anyone?

(hot plug is not actually a requirement, so just the ability to mount a
sta=
ndard drive would be acceptable)
