Re: Fw: X10 rcd problem
Seeing as nobody else has jumped in, I'll venture a reply!
re:X10 reliability - generally, when it works, it keeps working - until
*something* changes - that something could be as simple as a device being
plugged into a new / different wall socket, a noisy device being added to
the circuit etc. Basically, and this sounds kind of redundant when typing
it
- when it works it works OK, when it doesn't work, it's a real PITA to
track
down the cause! Most if not all of my X10 Stuff is Marmitek, and with the
above caveat, it's all been very reliable. I *do* get a fuse in a lamp
dimmer module that blows every single time one of the bulbs in the 3
connected lamp fails - that's since been retired in favour of a
byebyestandby dimmer.
re:Earth leakage - I believe you are correct, but I'm not an electrician.
Sorry if it's not particularly helpful - thought ANY reply would be better
than none.
