Hi Robert,



I run a Terrastation in RAID 5 with a WD USB connected to one of the USB
ports.



The USB connected drive shows up as a separate shared folder (USB1) and
is not part of the RAID array...

Guys,Bit of an obvious question you might think, but I can't find
information that gives me a definitive no. If I am running my
Terastation Pro with Raid 5, and I add a drive via the USB, does that
new drive become protected or does it act as a standalone.RegardsRob
