Re: [ukha_d] Freeview Set top Box Recommendations
Take a look at the Humax or Topfield range of products. I personally
have two Humax PVR boxes and I am very pleased with them. They have the
feature you describe of putting the current channel in a window when
browsing the guide - they also have a Freesat box if you want to go down
that route.
The Topfield (I believe) is more customisable but as I don't have one I
can't say for sure.
The Humax (and also the Topfield I think) automatically buffers two
hours of TV on the current channel, so if you miss something you can go
back and watch it again, without having to plan ahead to pause live TV
and then watch it. Obviously, as soon as you change channels, the buffer
clears and starts again.
