On the new Humax Foxsat-HDR Freesat PVR, there's an Ethernet port is

support 'future upgrades' including support for BBC iPlayer. It's not used
at the moment, though.

Are you sure it wasn't a Freesat one? If not, perhaps they're adding the
same capability to the Freeview boxes, too?

Hi Geoff,
have found the a Humax in Comet today, I forget the model number but
noticed that they also have an ethernet port on the back! - Any ideas
what that is for?
