Ah, sorry, I missed that requirement from your original post. I am not
aware of solutions for controlling external tuners from TV cards,
although one of the blackgold cards has a component and s-video input.

Have you thought about freesat? I have a colleague at work who
switched from Sky to Freesat for this very reason
