A lot may depend on the Building control officer - might be worth
giving your local one a ring to find out how he interprets the regs.
FWIW >. We've just had our renovation/extension signed off, I'd
fitted a whole house heat recovery system so there are no mechanical
extractors in any of the bathrooms. I was all prepared with the
technical details of air flow etc, anticipating lots of questions
and all I got was 'Nice tiles - where did you get them' :-)
