Do you need to use the nVidia control? I had similar issue with ATI control
panel, in the end I uninstalled the ATI control panel and just use the
standard Windows settings for multi monitors, ie just use the adapter
drivers and don't bother with all the add-on software/control
panels/plugins/bloatware/etc.
