RE: Internet enabled central heating controller
I don't know what your budget is, but I hope you've given sensibleheat
a look:-

They should be able to send you some typical pricing.
I've recently installed there hometronic system (manufactured by Honeywell)
with the wireless TRV's on all my radiators, some mains switches for hot
water, control of gragae lights. I also took Sensible Heats webmanager
which allows you to remotely check the temperature in all the rooms in
realtime, and make changes to the setpoints / turn things on / off.
I'll have to post a review to automatedhome some time. But I've found the
system to work incredibly well. I used to find the house was either too
hot or too cold, or a mixture. But now.... its all perfect!
HA that works!

Subject: [ukha_d] Internet enabled central heating controller
Hi all,
I know the discussion around automated heating systems comes up but the
answers seem to be more geared to full systems with remote controlled trv's
etc.
I'm just looking for a 'reasonably priced' network connectable heating
controller. Ideally this would be programmable as normal but with a
network socket for web page or similar access that I could amend the
programs, advance or boost from a web page.
Does anyone know of anything suitable?!?! Without spending a fortune of
course!
Thanks
Noel
