RE: Xbox (classic) HDD upgrade
Andy,
Err.. can't remember exactly, I know they bar didn't move for a long
time... enough time for me to get bored and go off doing something else.
When I returned I think it was back at the menu and I then selected the
"lock drive" option
Are you saying its stuck on the actual status bar screen and never going
back to the menu ?
Are you sure that you don't have a 1.6 version XBOX as I believe this
requires a slightly different procedure ?

Managed to get chimp onto the xbox and up and running. Is chimp
supposed to update
the state of the wipe/copy? There seems to be disk activity for a
while then it all goes quiet but
there's no status at all.
