All this talk of email has got me thinking.....

I have several archives of past work email, probably a good 10-15gig. At
the moment they are in individual PST archives which I create roughly
every year.

I on occasion I need to search through them to find some pertinent info
which means loading the archives and searching, easy if you can remember
which archive they are likely to be in :-/

On Mark's (and others) recommendation I've been looking at gmail and so
far I'm impressed. The one BIG benefit is Googles excellent indexing and
I also like the "labels" function as you can add more than one
label to
an email.

I'm now wondering whether to import all my mail into gmail (I would
still hold onto my precious backups!). I'd have to pay for extra storage
but that's not toooo bad.

Does anyone else do anything similar? Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Rob
