RE: iPad Home Automation App Videos

I got one delivered on the day of release...it's really very good at
what it does.  The only downside, having just spent the week on holiday, is
that it sucks in bright sunlight, had to revert to the Kindle for day time
reading.  Battery life is surprisingly good, easily exceeding the 10 hrs
that were quoted.  I also discovered Handbreak (probably old news to most
you guys) which can convert any of my burnt DVDs to an Apple-friendly
format.

In the evening though, where I'd normally pull the laptop out to do a bit
of work, and a bit of surfing, it's all the iPad now.  Laptop only comes
out if I actually have to actually edit something.

I spent 30 min with one in the apple store New York.

Great piece of kit, very fast, works as fast you want. For me it is an
ideal web pad, think my wife will use it more than her desktop.
