I assume you are now running Windows 7 which is supposed to give that
message when a battery reaches 60% of its original capacity - if you Google
for it there's plenty of noise out there about Windows 7 and whether it
kills batteries but basically it's a "new feature" in W7 which is
designed to alert you to a battery becoming worn out...
