RE: Original XBMC storage question

Thanks Des. That's my "Plan B" - I'll take my EeePC, the USB
disk, and a
X-over cable... - Just thought it would have been nice to cut out the extra
step in the middle, however early experiments are not looking promising, -
last night I decided to brave going up into the loft to plug a disk into an
Xbox, and absolutely nothing happened.... the disk was (is) formatted as
FAT32... neither the Dash's nor XBMC's filemanagers would see it...

Perhaps I need to load up the original Xbox dash and go into the memory
management bit?

I have never used USB storage on the Xbox1 so can't help you on that.

But my solution to your problem is I fill a spare 2.5" usb drive with
"content" and then use the laptop and a network crossover cable
to update
the remote xbox the next time I am at it. Obviously if you don't have a
laptop/PC handy it doesn't work.

Cheers, Des.
