AIUI a PCI or a CNI , including that within the Wiser can't be used by
more than one device or application at a time, nor can multiple IP
connections be actually created to a standard CNI. This is really
because the various users of the interface can set the interface into
different modes, plus there is a message
tagging/sequencing/acknowledgement algorithm that could get ambiguous
with multiple users.
I'm guessing that once you use Toolkit the Wiser will relinquish use
of the inbuilt CNI and hence iPhone control would cease. Certainly
that other iPhone C-Bus control app behaved this way and I know that my
gateway can't connect via Wiser and still maintain Wiser
functionality. So really the inbuilt CNI is pretty much dedicated
either to Wiser or another (usually Toolkit) use. So you're not really
gaining a spare CNI.
