Fermax Entryphone Cameras

I've got a Fermax entryphone that will be hooked into Comfort but want
to use the Camera in it as well.  Does anyone know if these should kick out
normal CCTV composite(?) signal, or are they something different designed
to go through the standard Fermax phone/monitor units?

I tried hooking the camera up to my UHF modulator and got a very extreme
picture mostly black with white fringes around sharp edges, so am either
thinking the signal is the wrong type or the camera is dud.

Any ideas?
