Exactly. I have developed a control system for the water heating in my
apartment and I have used CAN bus for the comms link. I thought about
wireless but as you said, I need something reliable. With CAN bus, it just
works.

That's what I'm talking about.... - that kind of thing just isn't good
enough when we're talking about controlling a fairly critical service like
the house heating... - it certainly wouldn't wash in our house - SWMBO
would
decree that fairly rapidly I can assure you!

CBUS on the other hand, has *never* failed to operate exactly as expected,
on time, every time....

YMMV of course...
