RE: OT - E-mail & Web
Hi Aaron,
I use GoDaddy's Exchange email service for my company email. I am a small
company (just me) so this is ideal and I don't have to deal with keeping it
running. Price wise they are cheap compared to Mail2web who was with me in
being less than half the price for the year.
This sync with any phone that supports Exchange sync which Android, WinMo,
iPhone do. You get contacts and calendar sync too.
I too like Simon gave up on running my own in the past. Too many IT issues
and this way I just have a working email that so far has been very reliable
and any downtime is advised well ahead of time and is generally no longer
than 15 mins for maintenance.

Subject: [ukha_d] OT - E-mail & Web
Hello All,
Looking for a bit of advice?!
Currently have a simple domain and e-mail system for our small business.
Looking to expand a little and perhaps move to a e-mail server etc..
wheres the best place to start?
I have some IT knowledge - but willing to learn.
I'd also like to understand it so when it goes wrong I can help myself.
What I would like to be abale to do is send/receive emails remotely and
from
iphone, but keeping all synched.
Also like to be able to synch a common file between approx 4 PC on a
regular
basis - remote access to a server for this may not be ideal as network
access not always available.
TIA, Aaron
