Tektronix 2445 Scope

Hi Everyone -



I have a friend who has a Tektronix 2445 150MHz quad trace scope that just
died.



When he turned it on it crackled and gave up the magic smoke.



As it's getting on a bit (like me) - he doesn't want to get it repaired.



Is there anyone on the list who wants it (for FREE)?



I don't really want to post it, as it's about 10Kg (approx - as I weighed
it
on the bathroom scales (me without and with the scope)).



I am near North Manchester (Bolton M61 J3/4/5), and could meet someone with
it in the evening.



Alternatively Altrincham (Near Homebase), or Preston, Lancs (near M6 J31a)
if you want to pick it up in work time.



First person to respond off-list can have it - I hate waste and I'm sure
someone can fix it.



(My scope is it's twin brother and works like a dream).
