Working with 240V equipment

Hello all,
I have a project that involves working on PCB's that are mains connected.
Circuitry on PCB drops it to 24V DC for the parts I'm interested in, but on
such a small board, there's potential (no pun intended) for making contact
with the 240V AC feed.
I have the mains feed connected to a plug in RCD, and an inline "fast
blow"
fuse rated at 500mA.
Do you have any suggestions as to what other precautions I should take, or
do you think I've done all that is necessary?
I'm normally a low voltage DC guy, hence seeking advice.
Thanks in anticipation,
Rob
