hi folks,
I suspect there may be an obvious solution to my problem, but I can't see
it, so would appreciate suggestions.
I've just changed my heating solution from PC+viom to Raspberry pi + relay
board, which is nicer, and more self contained. It is controlled via PC,
but there are 'boost' and 'off' buttons, and LED indicators on the main
unit, and remotely located in the bedroom. This remote connection is via
cat5, and at the minute I'm using normal terminal connector blocks to
connect the CAT5 cable to the internal wiring, and its a bit bulky.
What other connector types could I use? I'd prefer something that can be
plugged out, but I also like the flexibility of screw terminals. I was
thinking of maybe using some old RS232 connectors.
If there were tiny terminal blocks available, they would be ideal, but I
can't find any
Any ideas?
Regards
Simon
