Max,

I've got a new build of my SliMP3 Connector pretty much ready to go.
Tonight I've changed it to connect to the SliMP3 Server slightly
differently.

This means that if it starts up and the SliMP3 Server hasn't yet
started or cannot be found, then it'll carry on regardless, and each
time it *needs* the Slim server to do something (e.g. a display
message) it'll re-attempt a connection, reporting a (hopefully
helpful) error message if it fails.

Once the actual server is up, the connection between the two bits of
s/w should therefore be established on demand, irrespective of the
startup sequence of any Windows Services.

I'm hopeful this will solve the startup problem you've encountered.

This build also features the message queue so that each display
message gets its fair share of screen time. Its been in use here for a
few days now and seems fine. I haven't done much testing with double
height display yet though, having only upgraded to Slim Server v4.2.6
last night.

I'll upload this build tomorrow and post here.

Stuart

PS - thanks for the beta testing :-))
