Hi Guys,

Another 'Newbie' here who has caught the xAP bug at UKHA2004 but is
having difficulty getting started.

Can I make a suggestion, could someone from the xAP group work with a
group of 'Newbies' on some sort of simple install of the basic 'Hub' and
a representative list of Apps that give us confidence to deal with the
more detailed stuff later...

'xAP Desktop' seems high on the wish-list (with News, Weather and TV as
suggestions), and I personally would like to xAP enable my Homeseer
install. I think this would provide a quick win adding a lot of
functionality based on the existing devices in the current Homeseer
install. CID using TiVo would also generate a high WAF.

I'd like to get the Intranet based on phpNuke, but I accept this may
have to be phase II.

Any takers?

That's the idea. There are a variety of ways that make this step
possible, and many of us here employ different applications to do
things like that. Some of these are released and others aren't yet.

What platform do you mainly target? There are a range of tools for a
range of OS' that would allow you to join your home grown projects to
the xAP network. My own speciality is .NET for Windows.
