Mini-review....

.... IT WORKS!

I had a brief play with Kevin's new firmware a couple of days ago.

It booted up, and very quickly was registering heartbeats in xAP hubs
around the network.

As I tried various things on the C-Bus setup, BSC Mapper started
auto-detecting C-Bus devices, and I was able to "create a
mapping".

Lo and behold, within 2 minutes of plugging the box into the network,
I had xAP control of C-Bus dimmer.

A quick install of the "4-channel fader" plugin for xAP desktop,
and I
had desktop-control of the C-Bus channels.


Within 10 minutes, we'd knocked up some add hoc VB code to control
C-Bus channels from a slider on a VB form, which was kind of fun.

All in all, a jolly useful thing indeed. Well done, Kevin.
