You have to make sure that you are starting things in the right order.
Hub goes first. Then everything else.
I usually start viewer second when I'm testing, so I can catch the
initial heartbeat messages of the rest of the xAPplications on the
machine as they start up.

hi,
I think i have not installed something?
I have HubGUI.exe running and xAP Viewer + News + xAP Desktop
In HubGUI.exe and xAP Viewer nothing is showing at all just the same as
when you 1st load it?
When i goto About in Hubgui the program crashes and gives following
details
"See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time
(JIT)
debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just in time (JIT)
debugging, the config file for this application or machine
(machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the
system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to
the JIT debugger registered on the machine rather than being handled by
this dialog.

Hopefully this helps you?
Im running XP Pro and AVG anti virus and XP firewall
