For some reason Yahho Groups 'SPAM' filtered this message - anyway I
have reposted it for you.

I'm afraid I don't use xFX but IIRC the original V1 treated UID's as
numeric values and stored them in an appropriate container.  Possibly it
broke them apart into their 3 components .  Under xAP v1.3 the UID's are
not of a fixed length and so I believe they  had to be  handled as
strings rather than any numeric value.
