Hi,
Yes definitely needs a little maintenance. The original schema was for
metar data and later expanded for bbc data. As weel as getting the
extra items add for weather stations I would also like to get UV,pollen
and pollution levels in there too, as they are now included in the bbc
rss feeds.
This is all quite good timing as I'm currently working on a new version
of my weather app.
KT has posted a copy of a weatehrdisplay message, if you could post a
copy of a cumulus message i'll get them combined and update the dcos.
Back to the original question, a Rain= field seems to be the way forward!

Hi Paul,

I think the weather schema needs a bit of maintenance - I'm guessing
it was created to meet the needs of particular weather station hardware

In xAP there is a great way to report all telemetry/sensor data and
that is the TSC schema - which handles units and min/max etc - but it's
considerably more complex to implement as it is a two way schema - and
currently Cumulus and Weather Display are both xAP senders only.
