I use several HA applications here - in fact just about them all as I
like to ensure that xAP is as ubiquitous as possible in terms of support.
Everyone will have their own favourite HA application based on UI,
supported devices and features but I have to say the way that xAP has
been integrated into HouseBot via the plugin is the best implementation
within all of these apps. Not only is it very simple and totally
inkeeping with the HouseBot style - but it is incredibly flexible and
fast. HouseBot has a neat touchscreen interface too and is very
attractively priced.
I use HB extensively for both receiving and transmitting xAP messages
and also use it to convert schema between xAP messages - eg if for
example I would like an extra BSC output from some other message type
like CallerID for example. As HB handles all the BSC interaction for
you it makes it really easy.
