The beauty of a stable xAP and BSC specification is that developers are
not coding against a moving target. Great effort has been made to
ensure code written against the published specification will continue to
work well in any later releases that are made. Advance information on
the key changes in future releases has been well promoted and discussed
on the xAP Developer list - in particular the UID format changes. I do
agree however that a formal xAP v1.3 specification is long overdue. That
forum is the best one to discuss any future specifications rather than
cross posting to both forums.
The updating of vendor ID's does occasionally not carry through to the
website list - I'll take a look but be assured your developer ID is
registered.
