If you run Viewer it will tell you exactly how many you have in the top
left corner (I have around 650 endpoints over 35 devices )
The gateway with a heavily used HomeVision (and I know yours is) can
create a lot of BSC endpoints. However it only creates them for used
variables/flags/X10/C-Bus lighting etc .
A Netiom defaults to reporting all it's I/O although again you can
manually exclude specific I/O. It's probably worth doing this for
clarity if nothing else. Even with thousands of endpoints the actual
Ethernet bandwidth utilisation is negligible but the names do fill lists
etc which is confusing.
