Couple of comments M..
Is there a place to configure the xAP UID - the ABCD needs to be unique
on the network for each TelCanto server?
It's currently hardwired as TelGen.TelCanto.hostname, which should be
unique
except that it doesn't cater for multiple server instances so perhaps
should
have a suffix .0, .1, .2 etc. What's the general approach taken to this?
Obviously it would be possible to make it user-specifiable if required.
Just on the client install it doesn't appear in 'Programs' but just as a
file launchable via File Explorer in the TelCanto directory on the PPC.
Mean I cant set up a button to launch it either. This was ok on
previous installs but this is a fresh one.
Oops - I must have lost the shortcut when I did some reorganisation of the
installation. It'll be fixed in the next release. Meanwhile it's quite
easy to create a shortcut via ActiveSync - see
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnppc2k/htm
l/ppc_tcuts1.asp. Or you can do it on the PDA itself if you have Resco
File
Explorer.
