Chris,

Are you writing your own adodb because there is already one available
from
<a href="http://php.weblogs.com/ADOdb";>http://php.weblogs.com/ADOdb</a>

I am using it at work on my first PHP project. Under Apache/PHP4.2.3
running
on Windows 2000 I have successfully accessed mySQL, Oracle, MSSQL2000
and
Access.

When it comes to Linux I am a total newbie but the code has moved
straight
onto a Mandrake9 box with no problems other than a few permissions etc.

So much to learn, so little time :-(

Subject: RE: [ukha_xpl] Re: Vendor ID request

Afraid I've got to agree with all the comments been made about xAP
getting to complex. Im trying to write a decent php with mysql (using
adodb so any database that's compat with that, oracle, postgres, mssql,
etc) interface to X10 and general home control products.

They any plans for xPL linux versions? As I can only see vb projects so
far..

Kind Regards,
Chris Bond
