OK, so there is a small value in writing xPLlogger, then (which,
obviously, would simplify the data retreival for some applications.)
That's good, since I'm looking for an app that's simple enough that I
can use the writing of it to get to grips with xPL, but not so trivial
it's only a proof of concept.
