old newbee TTS question

Been a year since i was 'playing' with HA etc. I was testing
Slimserver to my rio's to compare with Streamsicle and so thought i'd
give xpl-Rioplay a go as well.

I've tried to get the TTS function to work, primarily to a RIO. I'm
not very PC literate but i've tried to use Xplhal to send a command
to the Rio with no luck.

I installed the microsoft TTS but i've no idea how to use it.

Any simple steps?
