Re: Scanner not working on my system



Hi Patrick,

I believe that xPLRioNet runs as a Windows service (Tony will correct me if
I'm wrong), so it won't be able to see your mapped drives, and you will
need to use a UNC.

By default, the service runs under the system account, which has no access
to any network resources.

Depending on how your Linux share is configured, you will need to configure
the xPLRioNet service to run as a user with permissions to access the Linux
share.

Go into Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Services, right-click on
xPLRioNet and select Properties, then click the Logon tab.
Here you can change the service so that it runs as a specific user, and not
as the system account.
Once you've made the change you'll need to restart the service.
