Have you used xplhal manager to set OSDMenu=Y

The firmware patch stops the exstreamer actioning the remote commands (it
passes them to xplrionet instead). These are actioned by xplrionet, as
xplrionet is the control software for the rio/exstreamer. If the exstreamer
actioned the remote locally, xplrionet couldn't keep control of the
exstreamer correctly.
