Tom, I have seen this issue before when you have several
"virtual"
networks in a PC - do you have a firewire or bluetooth IP device in one
of your PCs?

If so, and you don't use IP over firewire, disable the firewire IP
interface. Similarly, removing the IP bluetooth service if it's unused
should prevent the phantom messages.

Ian.

Subject: [ukha_xpl] xPL Monitor: triple msgs

Hi All,

Sorry for sending this to a list, but couldn't find a forum where this
type of newbie question would perhaps be better placed.
Anyway, I installed xPLHal and the xPL CM12 device. Got the things
configured, added a few "Determinators" etc. Seems to be working
great!
Except... in the xPL monitor every message gets logged 3 times. Every
heartbeat appears 3 times as every other msg.
But what worries me most is that if I send an X10 command via the xPL
Hal Manager (right click on X10 device -> switch on) then the xPL
Monitor logs 3 X10.basic messages, but receives 9 X10.confirm messages!
This makes me believe that each msg is actually "bouncing around"
3
times...

Regards,
Tom
