Your certainly putting xPL-HVision thru it paces ;-)).......
Havent really used timers in hv much , although after reading your email i
had a play and was able to sort out an issue i had with displaying an xpl
osd message.... HV runs a scheduled event every evening and checks for the
required date(once every month)  if correct starts a hv timer...When the
timer is ringing it checks to ensure the time is between 7.00pm and 10.00pm
if so sets a flag and restarts the timer....The setting of the flag gets
picked up by xPL and OSD messages get sent to PCOSD ,TVOSD and VFDOSD
;-)....So reminder messages get sent every 15 minutes ...
I have even created a Determinator which Displays the dates on my tv for
reference....
