Freeview Boxes

Hi All,

Yesterday I received my new FreeView box and have been
playing^H^H^H^H^H^H^H
investigating the features.

It is a SAGEM ITD602 which was on offer in ASDA but they havent had any for
some time. I got it from Amazon for £60. That particular model is about to
be replaced but all the Sagem boxes have similar features.

The main feature that I bought this box for is that the VCR SCART can
output
S-VIDEO at the same time as the TV SCART is outputting RGB.

This means you can connect it to your Main TV via RGB and use the VCR SCART
to feed a KAT5-TX for distributing S-Video quality pictures around the
home.

It also has a Radio mode where the screen looks liks a radio and because
the
image is static it dims after a few minutes with normal brightness restored
when you press any keys.

There are various Sagem models available, some of which have an SPDIF
output
for those who wish to hook up to their AV amps using Digital.

If you are looking for a Freeview box with S-Video capability then take a
look at <a href="http://www.sagem.fr/en/index.html";>http://www.sagem.fr/en/index.html</a>
