Hi Folks,

Just had HomeHighway installed (this morning). I have been trying to
get to the bottom of how much it will cost to use. When I first
enquired about BTs new 'Talk 'n' Surf Together with HomeHighway' I was
given to believe that I could use 128K for free evenings and weekends.
Turns out they were lying. According to HomeHighway people there are
currently no ISPs who offer 128K dual-bonded connections with
SurfTime.

BTInternet, my current provider, supplies a seperate number for 128K
which results in a double call charge at local call rate.

I have two questions:

1. Can anyone recommend an ISP who can supply a cheaper 128K
connection that BT?

2. I have an ELSA ISDN 4U router/hub on order. I currently have 2 PCs
that I would like to connect to each other and the Internet. ( I plan
to have more. ) This seemed like an ideal way to do it. Would I be
better getting an ISDN card for each, so each can access the Internet
at 64K with SurfTime? (This raises another question: Apparently both
64K channels present the same phone number to the ISP, does anyone
know if this lets you have two simultaneous 64K connections for free??
)

Many thanks for your comments.

Cheers,

Chris Williams
