I think you might mean the DS (Dallas Semiconductor) kit based on the DS
1820 ( the same part you use with a HomeVision) DS9091K is the part no for
the kit you mentioned and its 59.95 from maplin part VR39N. it uses a
network called Microwire 1 wire bus, however to use it you need a return
path (2 wires) and IIRC to use a lot of temperature sensors you real need 3
wires as the parasitic power drain is quite high for the temperature
sensors
( I could be wrong on this).
