Thought I'd say thanks to the group so far for helping me on my way with
this stuff (especially the LD10 / lights stuff).
Just taken delivery of my next batch of modules and other gear - here's
what
I have set up so far:
- 2 x lamp modules controlling two uplighters in living / dining room,
timed
for Dusk 'til 12:30am (dimmed to 60% for atmos).
- An LW10 (relegated to kitchen 'cos "The wife don't like my
LW10"),
controlling three lamps in our garden - again timed from Dusk.
- An AM12U turning on my coffee percolator to make tea (sorry Nigel - it's
good enough for me!). I've moving this from a timed event to being
triggered by an RF keyfob by the bed. Solves the problem of stale tea 'cos
I can't get up!
Projects for tonight:
- X10 All-for-One remote consolidation
- An AM12U to turn my jukebox on off (400 cds in 2x200 changers / track
selection on TV. I can go into this in more detail if anyone's
interested).
- An AW10U to control my glitter ball and laser projector in living room
(macro to turn off uplighters, turn on glitter ball and jukebox)
- Convincing the missus that all this is useful, nay, essential.
Cheers
Andy
