I've just been bought a Lava Lamp for my birthday today (Happy Birfday to
me...) and I'm faced with the same problem!!  Uping the bulb rating is
probably not a good idea in a lava lamp as it make get too hot and do funny
things to the wax.

It may be better to put an additional load on the module some other way.
Anyone got any ideas how to do this?
