I'd like to add a small rider to this, if I may. I have a 15"
1024x768
LCD on my desk here at work and use it all day long. I find it just fine
for most applications and light Java programming.
But recently I got a new notebook (Sharp AX-20) and it can drive the
external monitor and dual-display on its internal screen at the same time.
So I fit the two LCDs next to each other - bliss!
