Brian, would you mind if I cite you as proof when I phone them back?
It might involve letting me know your NTL customer number so that they can
find you....
could you mail me off-list to discuss....
In all other respects (been just over a week now...) so far I'm very happy
with NTL's service, - still got the same IP address I've had since the STB
first powered up & supplied it. Plus I've managed to get my router to
handle
DDNS updates, and I've got the router set up to run a VPN into my home LAN
-
works pretty well! I wouldn't have bothered trying either of those things
with BT's HH...
