Because the majority the British instead of standing up for themselves tend to pay the bill and leave mumbling. Thankfully we are changing, and will no longer tolerate such miserable service.

Why on earth would they assume that you wanted to convert your account from the one which you signed up for?

There have been several more messages back and forward this morning already!

They seem to have "assumed" I wanted to convert to a "Lite" account.  Might be worth it for others in my position to email them and make sure they know you don't want to pay them anything else!

I have also requested a copy of their file on me under the "Data Protection Act 1998".  Hey have asked me to send a registered letter to the following address stating my user name and the first and last letters of my password...

PlusNet Technologies Ltd.
Internet House,
8 Furnival Road,
Victoria Quays,
SHEFFIELD.
S4 7YA

Best of luck Mark...

..after all, using a service which is advertised as 24/7 as a 24/7 service and getting cought out bey the provider changing the rules isn't as bad as what some people are doing...

Go get 'em!
