I know there was some discussion recently about the built in controller on
Abit boards and the Promise controller card (with the latter being very
favourably received). But does anyone have any knowledge of the Abit Hot
Rod
Pro controller card that does ATA100 and has built in RAID 0. This card is
only £1 more at scan than the promise, but I don't want to get it if there
are likely to be problems with it. The machine will be running win2k so I
can do mirroring without the controller card, but I thought a hardware
solution might be more reliable.
Any advice most welcome
